A1 Alarms employ only fully qualified Electricians to install all cables for our security systems and Burglar Alarms.

Most other companies employ alarm or CCTV engineers, who although may be good at their given task tend not to have the knowledge of a qualified Electrician when it comes to installing concealed cables.

Our Electricians are always looking to conceal cables at all costs, for example, in a domestic Alarm all cables will be installed in the majority of cases under floors and not surface wired, most other security companies that we have encountered tend to install their system cables either clipped or stapled to the surface of door frames, skirting boards or wall surface, we have also seen cables laid under carpets and floor coverings, if you have ever had cable TV installed you may well have experienced this practice and how ugly it looks.

Rest assured, A1 Alarms will conceal the majority of cables in the majority of cases when compared to other companies.

Another problem with surface wiring is that it is easier to damage the system cables when making alterations, i.e. decorating or replacing carpets for wooden floor/laminate flooring or tiles, or if building work is taking place.
Therefore, by using A1 Alarms to install your security system you are less likely to get system faults and problems, as most faults are caused by damage to cables.
